Hi Ashley!
Welcome to planDisney! You have stopped by the perfect place to get answers to all of your
Walt Disney World questions. With your visit coming up early next year, there are going to be some changes to discuss regarding access to the parks.
Beginning on January 9, 2024, all date-based tickets will not require
theme park reservations for entry into the parks. If you purchased a vacation package that includes your park tickets or a
stand-alone ticket package, you will not need to make park reservations for your trip. This is a change to the current system in place and will make your upcoming trip much more flexible. You'll be able to decide each day which park you plan to visit, however, having a plan in place is always a great idea. With Advanced Dining Reservations recommended for many table-service dining locations, if you plan to eat at a restaurant located inside of a specific theme park, you'll need to decide this in advance.
If you add the
Park Hopper Option to your tickets, you'll be able to visit multiple parks on the same day. Starting at 2 PM each park day, you can hop to any of the three remaining parks throughout the rest of the day. This is perfect for Guests who want to maximize their park time and get the most out of each day. I've even come across some Guests that visited all four theme parks in one day. While I haven't personally accomplished this feat, I know many have been very successful!
Ashley, I hope this information helps you plan for your upcoming stay!
