Welcome to planDisney, Daniel!
Sounds like you've got a Disney World visit on the horizon, and I'll bet the whole family is excited! My family loves having a Disney countdown, gradually adding plans and watching our fun itinerary build as we get closer to our dates. Let's get your kiddos set up so they can use their mobile devices.
Yes, if your children are linked to your reservation they can get connected with tickets and access in the
My Disney Experience app. The easy way to share theme park tickets and resort room key access in their app would be by you sharing your plans. To do this, open your My Disney Experience app and select the three horizontal lines in the lower right corner. Next, scroll down to “Profile” and then select the “Family & Friends List” tab. Next, select your child's name from the list and click "Send Email." Once they accept, your kids should be able to see their tickets within their own app. They'll need to log in to their app, go to those three lines in the lower right corner, and then check under “Tickets and Passes." If for some reason you don't see their park ticket or the sharing process isn’t fully successful, the friendly Cast Members at
My Disney Experience, MagicBand and MagicBand+ can assist you further.
Have you tried using
MagicBands? I've grown to love using my MagicBand+ for my park ticket, to claim a
Lightning Lane pass, opening my resort room, and any purchases throughout my park day. They can be a fun "Key to the World"! But you are correct that all these same things can also be accomplished by using your My Disney Experience app.
I hope you and your children have a magical time at Disney World, Daniel! Please
visit me again at planDisney if I can help with any planning tips or recommendations... I love to help families enjoy their BEST. TRIP. EVER!
Go. Live your dream.
