My child turns 3 half way through our Disney trip. Do I need to purchase park tickets for her? We are not going through Disney vacation but so getting tickets online ourselves. Do I need documentation to show her age?

    Hi there Jessica,

Welcome to planDisney and thanks so much for reaching out with your question! I'm happy to hear that you're planning a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth later this year with your little one. September will be such a fun time of year to visit!

Tickets are required for Guests ages 3 and older to the Disneyland Resort. You would not need to provide documentation to show your daughter's age. Tickets for Guests aged 3-9 cost a bit less than for Guests aged 10+, but there are also often special offers and promotions throughout the year that might be applicable for you as well. For example, if the dates of your trip are flexible at all, the Kids' Summer Ticket Offer is available for visits through September 7 and offer significantly reduced ticket prices for kids.

You'll be visiting in the midst of the Halloween season, so there will be so many fun things to see and do during your time at the parks! Make sure to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog to learn more as it's announced. Additionally, my kiddos love spending time in Mickey's Toontown and we're excited to see Bluey's Best Day Ever! on our next visit as well.

Thanks again for your question, Jessica! I hope you have fun making new magical memories with your little one on your visit this fall.

    Have a Magical Day,
    Greg
