Hey there, Christopher, and welcome to planDisney!
I remember when my youngest Mouseketeer turned 3 years old as if it happened yesterday. It feels good to be a complete family of Walt Disney World Annual Passholders. Let’s chat about how to handle this upcoming renewal and addition.
This is such a good question! I wondered the same and here is what I’ve experienced: Unfortunately, there isn’t a prorated price or an expiration date adjustment to get everyone in your family on the same annual pass renewal date. However, you could technically purchase your soon-to-be-3-year-old’s annual pass early (
talk to a friendly Cast Member to see if you can get the ball rolling early).
My own family’s annual pass renewal windows are all over the place throughout the year. I create reminders on my phone and calendar to ensure that I don’t miss the renewal window of 60 days prior and 30 days after the multiple expiration dates. So, Hakuna Matata, it is totally doable!
AN EXTRA GEM: Don’t forget that the
V.I.PASSHOLDER Days event is going on now through the end of July 2026. It’s a chance to get super discounts at select restaurants (Monday to Thursday), a new, free Annual Passholder Toy Story magnet, an
EPCOT lounge exclusively for APs, and a lot more!
Christopher, I hope this answer helps you plan accordingly. If you have any additional questions about your upcoming visits,
reach out to us here at planDisney. See you real soon!
Magic always,
LeAndra
