Hiya Mellissa,
Welcome back to planDisney! We always love it when Guests like you come back and visit us for help with planning their Disney vacations! I’m so glad you were able to chat with my pal Christina. She is such a magical human!
One of the things I love most about visiting Walt Disney World Resort is that everyone can find something they enjoy, including dining. I’m happy to help you with some options that would help make your child’s visit magical as well. First things first, if you haven’t already, I recommend reaching out to the
Special Diets team at Walt Disney World Resort. You can provide them with a list of table-service locations where you are most interested in dining. Then they can help notify them of your child’s
dietary needs and advise you of what meals on the menu can either be modified (though no guarantee that all meals can be), and prepare for your child’s dietary modifications. One of my panelist pals,
Jason, has a child with FODMAP nutritional needs (which actually restricts dairy, peas, peaches, and garlic, among other foods). He has shared that in his experience with other Guests, he hasn’t come across a table-service location that hasn’t been able to accommodate his family’s needs. As for recommendations for table service dining locations that might be a great fit, I would start with breakfast buffets such as
Crystal Palace and
1900 Park Fare. Most, if not all, buffets have a good variety of food, and I personally love these three. For lunch/dinner, Jason mentioned that he enjoyed
Via Napoli,
Yak and Yeti, and
Liberty Tree Tavern.
I hope this was helpful, Mellissa. As you browse menus online, I recommend reaching out to the Special Diets team (no sooner than 14 days before your arrival). They can verify whether any of the options I provided or that you find can accommodate your child’s allergies, and even help provide some that I hadn’t mentioned above. Please feel free to come back and see us if you need anything else.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
