Does the popcorn at WDW contain diary is sunflower (in natural flavors)? What are the ingredients in the Mickey Epcot pretzels? Where can we find vanilla so delicious on the parks? Thank you!!!

    Hiya, Kim!

Welcome to planDisney. We're delighted you've popped by with a wonderful Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question! As a fellow foodie, I fully understand your desire to map out your "must-eats" for your upcoming vacation. I'd be happy to help you find your perfect bite during your upcoming visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth!

Kim, the Walt Disney World Resort is renowned for being an allergy-friendly vacation destination. As someone who's navigated the Disney Parks with food allergies and sensitivities, I hope to set your mind at ease! You'll be pleased to know that the fresh popcorn served at the popcorn stands throughout the theme parks does not contain dairy or sunflower ingredients. Popcorn at these stands is popped in coconut oil, so this salty snack is a popular choice for many allergy-aware Guests! I do recommend asking for an up-to-date ingredients list at each location you visit, just to be safe.

While the recipe for the world-famous Mickey-shaped pretzel is a best-kept secret, I can share that, as of my last visit, the only common allergens present in these pretzels are wheat/gluten and corn. I hope this means there will be lots of Mickey-shaped morsels in your future, Kim! As for the vanilla-flavored dairy alternative, I would encourage you to order some groceries to be delivered to your Disney Resort hotel if this is something that's important to you. My family almost always makes a stop by a local grocery store on our way from the airport or has groceries delivered directly to our Resort hotel. Bell Services can collect and store your grocery order until you're able to pick it up (excluding age-restricted items). Otherwise, you can target a delivery time that works for you to meet the deliverer right at your resort's main lobby area!

I hope you've found this information helpful, Kim. I'm wishing you a most magical and memorable visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! If you have any additional questions before or during your stay, you can always find us here at planDisney. We're here to help you make the most of your time at The Most Magical Place on Earth!

    See ya real soon,

    Lauren
