When I checked last year I read the eBikes are not allowed at the campsites at Fort Wilderness. But today I can’t find the current rules. Can you provide me a link so I can review the rules? Also, has the eBike policy changed? Thank you.

    Hi Clifford,

It sounds like you love a good adventure. You have picked the perfect place to stay at Disney World for that added touch of wilderness fun. The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort have so many activities to keep you active while on vacation. My favorite thing about this Resort is that you feel like you are in the middle of the wilderness but you are still so close to all of the amenities Disney World has to offer.

The vehicles, carts, and recreational devices rules and regulations do specifically mention that bikes must be manually powered. It also states that electric and electric-assisted bikes are prohibited on the grounds. If you are looking for a way to get around quicker on this sprawling resort, you should consider renting a golf cart for your trip. There is a whole subculture around golf carts at this resort where people will decorate them and parade around. Even if you don't want to jump into all of that, it is a fun and convenient way to quickly get from your campsite to all of the fabulous amenities this Resort has to offer.

During your stay make sure to check out the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue for a knee-slapping good time. The food is delicious and there is unlimited sangria, wine, and beer for the guests in your party who are over 21. This is a must-do for my friend group when we visit Disney World even if we are not staying at the Resort.

    Happy Planning,
    Jenna
