Hey Howdy Hey, Julie!
Welcome to planDisney! As my friend Princess Tiana would say, you’re
Almost There. . .almost to your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! With so much
festive fun this time of year, there is no better time to visit
The Most Magical Place on Earth!
Julie, if your tickets were purchased directly through Disney, you should be able to view them in your
My Disney Experience account. If you’re viewing from a laptop, you can click on “My Plans” and then select the tab that says “Tickets, Passes, and Memory Maker.” Here, you can see any tickets assigned to you, as well as those on your
Family and Friends List. The ticket will also display the number of days it’s valid for, the type of admission, and the start date if you have date-based tickets. This same information can be found in your
My Disney Experience Mobile App by clicking on the three lines in the bottom right corner and then selecting “My Tickets and Passes.”
If your tickets were purchased elsewhere and you haven’t
linked them to your account yet, you can easily do that online or in the app. To add your ticket, you’ll need the confirmation number provided at the time of purchase. After linking your tickets, you can
reassign them to others on your Family and Friends List. If you run into any issues linking your tickets, you can always
call a Cast Member at Existing Tickets for additional assistance!
As you’re reviewing your ticket information, it’s also important to
verify whether or not your admission type requires theme park reservations. Most date-based tickets do not require theme park reservations any longer, but you will find these needed with select admission types such as Annual Passes, Disney Military Salute Tickets, Florida Resident Tickets, and a few others. The full listing of ticket types requiring reservations, as well as the calendar of reservation availability, can be found online.
Once you have your tickets ready to go, it’s time to start your vacation! To enter the parks, you can use a linked
MagicBand or create a pass using
Disney MagicMobile Service on your device. If you’d prefer an actual ticket, you can request a Key to the World Card from your Disney hotel or Guest Relations in the park.
Julie, I hope this information has been helpful and that you enjoy a wonderful visit to Walt Disney World Resort! You’ve got a friend in me here at planDisney, so please stop by to see us again if you have any other questions!
See ya real soon!
