At this time, there are no
Lightning Lanes for character meet and greets. If there is a specific character you’re hoping to meet with a shorter wait time, I recommend checking their meet and greet times on the
My Disney Experience app, and plan to get to their meet and greet location about 15 minutes before the listed start time.
You can find all of the character meet and greet locations by clicking the map icon at the bottom of your My Disney Experience app. Then, swipe sideways at the very top of the screen until you can click
Characters.
From there, you can use the filter button to narrow down your search by location. I always like to click the Show List button in the bottom right corner of the screen, as well. That makes it easier to find specific characters if you have a certain one in mind.
To find the times that the character will be greeting guests, you can just click on the character from the map or list view, and you’ll see more information regarding the time and location.
Of course, booking
character dining is also a great way to meet characters without having to worry about standing in a queue! I personally prefer to book a
character meal at one of the resorts on a day when we’re not planning to visit the theme parks. That way, we don’t feel rushed to get back to the fun at the parks, and it gives me more flexibility when choosing a reservation time.
