Hi Laquita!
Welcome to planDisney! I’m sure you’re going to love being “Down in New Orleans” at
Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - Riverside! While this resort and its neighbor, Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter, may take their inspiration from New Orleans and the bayou that Princess Tiana calls home, you won’t find dining with her at either of these locations. However, I’m happy to share a few spots where you can dine with and meet Tiana during your visit!
Laquita, while character appearances are always subject to change, the best bet for dining with Princess Tiana is going to be at
1900 Park Fare inside Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Here she is dressed in her bayou adventure outfit and typically joins Mirabel, Aladdin (dressed as Prince Ali), and Cinderella at this character dining buffet. If you’re traveling here from Disney’s Port Orleans - Riverside, you can use
complimentary resort transportation to take a bus to Magic Kingdom Park and then either the monorail or water launch to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa! You can also request a
Minnie Van through the Lyft app. While the Minnie Van is a paid transportation option, it will provide a more direct route to your meal - not to mention a super cute ride! I would suggest making this dining reservation on a day you’re planning to visit Magic Kingdom Park as you can easily travel between the two locations.
There is also princess dining available at
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall inside EPCOT and
Cinderella’s Royal Table inside Magic Kingdom Park. Princesses may rotate at both of these locations so you never know who you’ll meet - maybe Tiana could make a surprise appearance! Regardless of which character dining option (or options!) you choose, please know that all of these are very popular and
advanced reservations are highly recommended.
In addition to dining, you can find
Tiana greeting Guests at Princess Fairytale Hall, usually alongside Rapunzel. Of course, you’ll also want to check out
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Magic Kingdom Park too! Currently, there is no standby queue available for this attraction, but you may want to confirm the latest information closer to your arrival. If a standby queue is still unavailable, you can try and secure your place in line with a
Virtual Queue at 7:00 AM or 1:00 PM on the day you are visiting the park or by purchasing a
Lightning Lane Multi Pass for the day you are visiting Magic Kingdom Park up to 7 days before your arrival.
Laquita, I hope this information helps as you try and catch up with your favorite princess during your visit to Walt Disney World Resort! If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to stop by planDisney and visit us again!
Cheers!
Kristi
