Welcome to planDisney, Brittany! This is a question that's especially relevant for me because I recently had to update the
payment method for my own
Magic Key monthly payments. Let me share how I did it!
To update your Magic Key payment method, you will need to call the
Magic Key Holder phone line or visit the Guest Services window located in the Esplanade at the Disneyland Resort. Unfortunately, there is not currently an option to update your monthly payment information online or in the
Disneyland App. I would recommend giving the Magic Key Holder phone line a call as that may be the most convenient (and quickest!) way to ensure your payment information is correct.
Before you call, I'd recommend having your Magic Key pass number and new payment information handy. That way, the Cast Member can quickly verify your account and update your monthly payment method without having to pause while you look for additional information. I always find that having everything ready beforehand makes these types of calls go much more smoothly.
Since you're already taking a few minutes to review your Magic Key account, it's also a great opportunity to make sure the rest of your account information is up to date. If you will be renewing your Magic Key anytime between now and May 26, 2027, you will also be eligible to receive a
Disney Dining Card for up to $100, depending on your pass renewal type. The dining card will be sent to the email address you provide when you renew your Magic Key, so it may be worth ensuring that is up-to-date as well. The card is usable at the majority of dining locations at the Disneyland Resort, so I know my Dining Card will be put to good use!
