Hiya Allison!
Welcome to planDisney and thanks for coming to us with your question! I'm sorry to hear that you were "unavoidably detained by pranky spirits" and unable to make your original park reservations. Hopefully, you'll be able to make it to the Disneyland Resort soon but in the meantime, I'd be happy to show you how to change your reservations.
Thankfully, it's really easy to modify your park reservations. I'm sorry to hear that you weren't able to find an available reservation but I would recommend that you keep checking because guest plans change all the time and I've often found that reservations open up now and then when someone else cancels. In order to re-schedule your park reservations, navigate over to the
Ticket and Reservation Details page and click on "Make or Modify Park Reservations." Select the date that you would like to change and click on "Modify Reservation" to the right. Pick a new date for your reservation, then confirm and you should be all set! This process needs to be repeated for each day that you would like to reschedule. If you have a standard
Multi-Day Ticket, all reservations must be within a 14 day window, so you might have to cancel them first before booking a new one further out.
You are free to change your reservations at will until your ticket expires. When you actually scan your ticket for Park entrance, that will then activate your ticket. If you know that you are unable to make your original reservations, it's always courteous to cancel them to make room for another Guest who may want to visit that day. To assist you with planning, the Disneyland Resort posted a complete
Calendar of 2024 Events going on at the Resort so you know what to expect. There's nearly always something magical happening at the Happiest Place on Earth!
Allison, I hope that this was helpful for you. Please do not hesitate to stop by again with more questions if you need. You're always welcome at planDisney and we'd love to help. Until next time!
Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!
