I have celiac disease. We are planning a trip in August to Disney World. In the past I have purchased the dining plan (the middle plan) but was wondering if I choose the quick counter meal plan will there be enough places that I can find something to eat

Hi Misty! Disney World works hard to accommodate guests with special dietary restrictions. In each of the parks, the following counter-service restaurants generally have gluten-free options available:

    • Magic Kingdom – Columbia Harbour House, Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café,  Pecos Bill, Main Street Bakery, Pinocchio's Village Haus
    • Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park – Restaurantosaurus, Flame Tree Barbecue, Harambe Fruit Market
    • Epcot – Liberty Inn, Sunshine Seasons and Electric Umbrella,
    • Disney’s Hollywood Studios – Backlot Express, ABC Commissary and Rosie’s All-American Café, Toy Story Pizza Planet, Studio Catering
The counter-service restaurants at the resorts also usually provide gluten-free options. If you email the Special Diets Department at SpecialDiets@DisneyWorld.com, they can send you a list of the gluten-free foods available at the quick-service restaurants, as well as provide you with more information about dining at Disney World with dietary restrictions.

Hope this helps! It's always nice to see fellow North Carolina residents visiting us here at the Moms Panel! If you have more questions, feel free to ask!
