While being a mom always comes first, I am also an attorney and the owner of a law firm devoted to the needs of senior citizens and disabled individuals. Working for myself gives me the flexibility to volunteer at my children's school during the day and to be in the carpool line when school dismisses. Since I'm the one making the beds and washing the dishes at home, I like to be pampered on vacation, which means you'll most often find me in one of Disney's deluxe resorts, although we've stayed at the value and moderate ones too. Even though I enjoy the finer things in life, I'm a bargain shopper at heart and know how to make the most of every Disney Dollar.
About My Family
My husband and I have a son, age 13, and a daughter, age 10, and we've been bringing them to Walt Disney World since they were infants. Our kids love thrill rides (unlike their wimpy mother!), Disney pin trading, and searching for Hidden Mickeys. Our son could easily win the World's Pickiest Eater contest and has attempted to order a grilled cheese sandwich at just about every Disney restaurant, so I'm your go-to source for questions about which restaurants best accommodate finicky eaters! Our daughter dressed as a different Disney princess for the first eight Halloweens of her life and she still loves getting makeovers at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and The Pirates League. She's excited to be participating in Disney Performing Arts workshops with her dance team this year.
About My Disney Experience
My parents first took me to Walt Disney World as a young child in 1973, and I've been hooked ever since! Now that my husband and I have children of our own, we've continued visiting Disney at least once or twice every year. I've experienced Disney while pregnant and as the mom of babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and now school-age kids. I've planned Grand Gatherings for extended family and have taken several Disney cruises. Friends, family, and even strangers often ask me for advice when planning their Disney vacations, so I'm excited about being on the Moms Panel and having the opportunity to help even more people plan their Disney trips!
