About Me

Teaching middle-school band and visual art was rewarding for almost 15-years until my trajectory changed to managing my son's autism therapies and supporting my daughter through her medical school studies. I love reading, I dabbled in medical illustration as a student in university, and almost became an archeologist because of a passion for field-work, so you can imagine my excitement when Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park was built and designed with the influence of primatologist Jane Goodall. I'm a real planner where logistics are just as important as the destination, keeping my special needs son in mind.

About My Family

I am blessed with a wonderful husband and two beautiful children. We began our vacations to Walt Disney World Resort when my daughter was a preschooler and have vacationed at the Disney Parks and with Disney Cruise Line ever since - we've even enjoyed a visit to Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa in Ko Olina, Honolulu, Hawai'i, twice!

After my son’s diagnosis with autism, our Disney vacations became even more important. They made a such a positive impact on our lives, because of my son’s spontaneous, developmental and social improvements while there, not to mention how the Cast Members make us feel right at home. Disney Parks vacations quickly became a tradition for my family because there is always something happy to look forward to and something new to experience on each and every vacation.

About My Disney Experience

Our first visit to Walt Disney World Resort was back in 1998, and we have since completed over 50 visits to Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resorts combined. We also love Disney Cruise Line and have sailed over 15 cruises on all four ships.

Our magical trips to the Disney Parks and Disney Cruise Line, primed us for a grand adventures vacation with extended family, sailing with Disney Cruise Line through the Mediterranean. My son, who is autistic, breezed through the Mediterranean vacation, all because of Disney Cruise Line!

We have also vacationed at the beautiful Aulani, a Disney Resort and Spa, in Ko Olina, Honolulu, Hawai’i. Our family has enjoyed staying at many, differently themed Walt Disney World Resort hotels, and we have enjoyed celebrating many milestones, birthdays and anniversaries there.

One thing I can say with great certainty is that each Disney Parks vacation is unique and memorable, placing our family on a positive, tradition-making path, bonding us and fostering growth for each member of my family.
