Hello, we will be celebrating a milestone birthday at Disneyland this week. Where/how do we get the cute buttons I have seen people wearing for special occasions?

Hi Lisa! Thanks for visiting planDisney.

What a special place to choose to celebrate. We've celebrated many a birthday, anniversary, and graduation as a family at the Happiest Place on Earth, so I know you'll have a magical time marking this milestone.

I recently celebrated my 45th birthday at the parks. I wore a button so people could wish me happy birthday. It's an extra dash of magic on a special day, and they make for a fun souvenir of the day too. You can pick up one of these Complimentary Birthday Buttons at City Hall on Main Street, U.S.A. in Disneyland Park or Guest Services at Disney California Adventure Park. If you're staying at one of the Disneyland Resort Hotels, you can also let a friendly Cast Member at check-in know that you're celebrating. They have the buttons available at the front desk.

Do you have a Dining Reservation for the day? That's another special way to celebrate together, enjoying a meal and saying cheers to many more years. We have our favorite spots for a special meal, including the Lamplight Lounge in Pixar Pier at Disney California Adventure Park, but all your choices will be immersive and magical. Last-minute reservations can be possible. People's plans change and when they do, availability will reflect that. So, keep checking! You can even possibly add a Mickey Celebration Cake at the podium if you snag a reservation at a participating location and there's still cake availability that day.

    Happiest of birthdays!
