Can you use cash in parks and resorts?

Welcome, Tiffany, to planDisney! So lovely to have you visit with us about your upcoming visit.

At Walt Disney World, there are various payment methods accepted throughout the theme parks, resort hotels, and Disney Springs, making it easy and convenient for guests to make purchases.
    Accepted payment methods include:
Disney Visa Card, Visa, Mastercard, Discover Card, American Express, Diners Club Charge Card, JCB (Japan Credit Bureau), Disney Gift Cards, and Cash.

Additionally, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay are accepted at most locations, allowing for a contactless payment option. If you’re staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you also have the option of charging purchases to your room via a linked MagicBand in the My Disney Experience app.

At the end of each day, you can visit the front desk to check your balance and use an alternative form of payment, such as cash, Disney Gift Cards, or another credit/debit card, to settle your charges. This helps you stay on top of your spending and ensures that the balance doesn't automatically charge to the card on file.

No matter how you choose to pay, you’ll be all set to enjoy a magical and seamless shopping and dining experience!
