Can we have regular ice in a backpack cooler at the parks?

Welcome to planDisney, Jonathon! Thanks for stopping by to bring us your question!

Jonathon, when it comes to bringing a cooler into the parks, you can absolutely bring one, but there are a few things to keep in mind. Loose ice is not allowed, but don’t worry, reusable ice packs are your best friend! They’re the perfect way to keep your snacks and drinks nice and cool as you stroll through the parks.

Also, while you’re packing that cooler, be sure to throw in all your faves and must-haves! Just remember that glass containers are a no-go. Keep it safe and magical with plastic or cans, and you’ll be good to go!

And here’s a little extra magic for you. Disney offers FREE cups of ice water at quick-service restaurants! Once you’re inside the park, just ask for a cup of ice, and a cast member will happily provide it. It’s a nice way to stay refreshed without having to carry extra weight!

Before you pack your park bags, be sure to check the latest guidelines on Disney’s website, as rules can change. I’m all about making sure you have everything you need to have a fun and stress-free day!

Wishing you a pixie-dusted adventure! Can’t wait for you to enjoy the magic! And for any additional questions or planning tips, please be sure to come back and see us
