My daughter and I will be visiting Disneyworld with my 12 month old granddaughter in August. Is there a list of attractions that are age appropriate for a 1 year old baby?

    Hi Vickie! Welcome to planDisney!
Your upcoming Disney vacation is sure to be extra magical with your sweet Disney Princess joining the adventure!

Our family’s first visit to Walt Disney World was when my little princess was a toddler, and she had the most incredible time. Multi-generational vacations are truly special, as my mom often joins us, and seeing Disney through both her eyes and my daughter's is an experience I treasure. There's just something magical about sharing those moments across generations!

Each park has attractions that guests of all ages and heights can enjoy together. Magic Kingdom has the most options, allowing you and your little one to experience plenty of rides side by side. Over at EPCOT, be sure to take a relaxing journey on The Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros and go under the sea with The Seas with Nemo & Friends. At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you won’t want to miss Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway or the fun and interactive For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration.

Over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, she’ll love taking a ride through the savanna on Kilimanjaro Safaris and getting up close with animals at Affection Section, the park’s petting zoo area.

And of course, Magic Kingdom is a toddler’s dream come true! From flying high on Dumbo the Flying Elephant to sailing through Peter Pan’s Flight and bouncing along with Tigger on The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, her day will be filled with pure joy!

You'll find all of the attractions and height requirements on the Disney website or the My Disney Experience app. Your granddaughter will be able to join the line with you and/or your daughter of any attractions that say "any height"! Take a look at this Planning Guide for Parents of Preschoolers and Small Children. You'll find tons of information and a list of attractions at each theme park.

I hope this helps as you plan a magical experience for your little one. If you have any more questions, feel free to stop by again. Wishing you and your family an unforgettable trip filled with pixie dust and precious memories!

    Toodles,
    Korliss
