Hello. Which Caribbean Resort buildings have guest rooms with a roll-in shower? Thanks Much.

    Hey there, Carin!

I'm so happy to welcome you back planDisney with this great question. As a wheelchair user, I'm very familiar with roll-in shower accommodations. They are always what I prefer to book when traveling. I did some digging, and I hope you'll be happy with what I've found.

At Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, these Preferred Room locations include the following buildings that have the roll-in shower option:

    • Martinique (Buildings 24-26)
    • Barbados (Buildings 31-33)
Standard View rooms with roll-in showers include:

    • Jamaica (Buildings 41-46)
    • Aruba (Buildings 51-56)
Standard View rooms with 5th sleeper and roll-in shower include Trinidad, Jamaica, and Aruba. Water or Pool View rooms with a 5th sleeper and roll-in shower are available in all buildings.

If you're interested in asking for a particular building during your stay, you can conveniently reach out to Disney Resort Hotel Reservations. Another way to make your request is by utilizing the chat feature on the Disney World website or your My Disney Experience mobile app

Carin, keep in mind that while you can reserve a wheelchair accessible room with a roll-in shower pending availability at the time of booking, requests for a particular building location cannot be guaranteed. A Cast Member will do their best to accommodate your preferences based on availability during your stay.

It looks like you have a little bit of a countdown before your arrival. My planDisney pal, Jenn has a super fun countdown calendar idea that you can check out on the planDisney Instagram page

Carin, I hope this information has been helpful. Please visit us again with any additional questions you might have throughout your planning journey!

    Magical Wishes,

    Kami
