Hi Michael, and welcome to planDisney. I hope that you had a magical stay at Disney World last month and the post-Disney blues aren't hitting too hard!
Now, let’s figure out how to get a copy of your receipt. First, let’s see if it's hiding in your email inbox. Just last week, I received an email from a Disney Resorts email address with my hotel receipt. It came early in the morning on check-out day, and “Your Disney Hotel Receipt” was in the subject line. If you were the lead guest on the reservation, and it was linked to your
MyDisney account, the receipt should have been sent to the email address connected to your profile. You might also try searching for the word “folio” or checking your email’s Promotions or Spam folder.
If you can’t find the email, Hakuna Matata! I’d recommend emailing Disney World to see if they can send you a copy of your receipt. In the
email form on the Disney World website, you’ll see the option to select Hotel Reservations in the Category drop-down menu and My Hotel Bill and Folio under the Subcategory drop-down menu. There will also be a field to include your reservation or confirmation number, which will help Cast Members locate your receipt.
I hope that your next visit is just around the riverbend! Until then, keep an eye on
Disney Parks Blog to stay on top of all the fun additions and changes coming to Disney World next year. I’m most excited about the
storylines being added to Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run and the
new interactive experiences at The Magic of Disney Animation. And if you love thrill rides,
Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets also opens in 2026!
We hope to see you real soon at Disney World. And until then, if you have any other questions, you’re always welcome back at planDisney!
