CanI resign or use my unused days on park ticket in future

Hello, Leila! Thank you for stopping by planDisney to ask about unused theme park tickets. I suspect you're finishing up a fabulous Walt Disney World Resort adventure but have simply run out of time to do everything. Believe me - I've been there! Let's look at your options for extending the magic.

You can check to see what type of tickets you have and any remaining days by opening your My Disney Experience mobile app and tapping the "My Tickets & Passes" tile on the Welcome screen. At the top of the next screen, swipe through your tickets to see information about each one near its barcode.

You should see your ticket's expiration date and the number of days remaining on it. If you have unused days that are set to expire, I recommend you contact Guest Relations onsite or by phone at the Existing Tickets line. The Cast Members have access to your account details to help advise you. The sooner you can make these arrangements, the more options you'll likely have.

While you cannot reassign a theme park ticket to another guest once you've used it, you might be able to apply its remaining value to a future ticket for yourself. My friend recently upgraded to an Annual Pass on the last day of his trip. Like Cinderella, he made the transaction just before the clock struck midnight!

Leila, the thought of an unused ticket makes me sad, but visions of a future Disney visit cheer me right up! I'm sprinkling pixie dust your way and hoping you'll find a sensational solution. Enjoy the rest of your trip, and please stop by planDisney anytime.

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
