Greetings and welcome to planDisney, Alejandro. It sounds like a visit to the Disneyland Resort is in your future and I'm happy to help.
Theme park tickets and
theme park reservations are what you need first for your visit, so it sounds like you're on the right track. Oh bother, I'm sorry to hear that you mistakenly made a purchase for an extra ticket. Unfortunately,
theme park tickets are nonrefundable and the purchase cannot be reversed. I'm sorry I don't have better news to share with you, Alejandro.
There is a bit of good news here, though. You can always gift the purchased ticket to someone else to attend with you, or at their leisure. There's also a little bit of flexibility built into your theme park ticket. You have until the expiration date to complete your visit for the ticket purchased. If you aren't able to visit before then, the good news is that the
value of any fully unused expired ticket (excluding special event tickets) can be applied towards the purchase of a new theme park ticket at the current price. You can do this as long as the new ticket purchase price is equal to or greater than the amount paid for the original ticket.
Alejandro, while this is probably not the answer you were hoping for, I hope that the information I shared is still helpful. Most of all, I'm hoping that you're able to find a use for the ticket that was purchased, whether that be making some magic for someone else or saving some magic for the future. If you have any other questions that we can help with, please come back to visit us. Here's wishing you a magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!
