Welcome to planDisney, Ashley! Dining questions are always my favorite and I'm happy to answer yours.
There are a few changes that you can make online through your
My Disney Experience account by finding your resort reservation under "My Plans" and selecting "Modify Reservation." However, at this time, removing a
dining plan is not one of these things that can be done online. Instead,
call the resort and a friendly Cast Member would be happy to help you. If you decide to add it at a later date, you should be able to do that online or by calling the resort. Just consult the
Terms & Conditions page of the website to be mindful of important dates, cancelation policies, and/or change fees that may apply.
As many times as I've been to the
Walt Disney World Resort, and as much as I look forward to all of the food I'll eat when I'm there, I have actually never added a dining plan to my
vacation package. Well, Ashley, in 2024, I think I may have to change that. For research purposes of course!
Just remember that if you are staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel, which it sounds like you are, you can book your
advanced dining reservations for your entire trip (up to ten days) starting at 6 a.m. EST 60 days before your arrival date. Some of my favorite
table-service restaurants at the moment are
Roundup Rodeo BBQ in
Disney's Hollywood Studios,
Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' in
Disney Springs, and the classic
Le Cellier Steakhouse in
EPCOT. But no matter what
dining experiences you choose, you are bound to be immersed in some great theming, enjoy some delicious and unique cuisine, and be spoiled with excellent service.
Ashley, enjoy every minute of your January vacation and be sure to
reach out to me directly if you have any other questions.
Imagine a place where wishes come true,
Matt
