When does the calendar open up for January 2025?

Hey there, Katie, and welcome to planDisney!

It's a pleasure to see you here and thanks for bringing your question to us. Congrats on having a Disneyland Resort Vacation planned for early next year! I'm glad that you're thinking this far ahead, so please let me try and answer your question for you.

Disneyland Resort Vacation Packages for the following calendar year are typically released around late summer of the current year. For instance, vacation packages and hotel reservations for 2024 were released in late August of 2023. Since that time, reservation windows for standard Theme Park Tickets were increased to 180 days prior to arrival, so that timeline might change a bit this year. Either way, I'm sure that Disney will give you plenty of time to plan that magical vacation of yours!

Once you secure your hotel reservations, keep in mind that you'll be eligible to make your dining reservations 60 days before your arrival, so have some choices in mind! I personally can't pass up booking Lamplight Lounge or Blue Bayou Restaurant if I ever see an opening.

Katie, I hope this was helpful information for you. I'd recommend following the Disney Parks Blog to be among the first to hear the announcement about next year's packages. Since your visit is so early, you'll want to jump on these as soon as they are released. If you have more planning questions for us, please feel free to write again!

Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!

Meet the Panelist: Al, California

Ahoy there from the heart of Steinbeck Country in central California! I've been visiting the Disneyland Resort since childhood and fell in love with the sense of absolute immersion that the Imagineers have achieved. My favorite attraction is Pirates of the Caribbean because where else can you go from a California day to an evening boat ride in the bayou with "salty old pirates"? I'm a veterinarian and an all-around Disney geek and enthusiast. I'd love to help you plan your next Disneyland trip! Learn More About Al
