Robert from AZ Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I buy the ticket and the dates that i want to visit is not available what i can do i booked the hotel and paid the whole thing

Welcome, Robert! We are so glad you stopped by planDisney with your question. We like to ensure your planning experience is just as magical as your day in the parks, so I'm going to jump right into an answer for you.

The good news is that I just took a quick look at the Theme Park Reservation Calendar, and as of this moment, both parks have reservations open around your arrival date for standard theme park ticket holders. Let's find out where the glitch might be for you.

When you purchase theme park tickets on the website, you are are asked to select the days you plan to visit as park of the check-out process. Once that purchase is confirmed, you have actually made theme park reservations for the dates you selected. If you have done this and then go to make reservations, you will get an error message that they are not available for your tickets. I know this can sometimes be confusing! Let's see if this is the case for you. Let's first make sure that your tickets are linked to your account. If you have downloaded the Disneyland Mobile App and logged in with the same account used to purchase the tickets, navigate to the "three-lines" icon in the bottom right-hand corner and select "Tickets & Passes". Scroll left to ensure all of the tickets you purchased are showing here. If not, you can manually add them by pulling up the ticket identification number from your purchase confirmation email and select "Link Tickets & Passes" and "Type ID". If you're all set here, let's keep going!

If you go back to the menu offered with the "three lines" icon, scroll to "Future Plans". Here is where you will see any upcoming theme park reservations. See anything in there? If not, tap the "+" in the bottom navigation bar and select "Make a Park Reservation". If your tickets are all uploaded, you can go ahead and select "Make or Modify Park Reservations".

Another scenario could be if you have booked a Disneyland Resort Hotel Package, which includes both theme park tickets and a hotel reservation. In this case, you will need to book your theme park reservations after you've purchased the package. With packages, your tickets will not show up in your account until 3 days prior to your arrival, but not to worry, you can make your reservations well ahead of this date. Head back into your Disneyland Mobile App and make sure your hotel package confirmation number is linked to your account. Navigate to the "three lines" icon and scroll to "Hotel Reservations". If you see your booking, tap the "+" and head to "Make a Park Reservation" as described above. If not, simply enter your reservation number, last name, and arrival date and follow the instructions from there. Once that's complete, tap that "+" to make your reservations.

I'm hopeful we found your reservations, Robert! If you are still having difficulty, the Cast Members in Guest Services will be happy to help. Before I let you go, I always like to recommend checking out the Park Hours & Events Calendar ahead of a visit to help plan out your magical day!
