Hey there, Carmen! During this holiday season, it sounds like you have the most magical gifting spirit. I'm glad to meet you here at
planDisney with your question about making someone's vacation dreams come true.
You have a few options to purchase a ticket as a gift for someone else. As you know, if you buy a
theme park ticket, they are date-based, which can be challenging when you do not have a specific trip in mind. You could purchase a ticket and guess a date. Your "new favorite friend" can use it on that day or apply the amount paid to a ticket for a different date. If the final dates are more expensive, they just have to pay the difference.
I'd also like to share my favorite option:
Disney Gift Cards. My mother buys tickets for my nephew to join me on trips to
Magic Kingdom Park, and gift cards have been the easiest option. He opens a present with a red card, which shows a very happy Mickey smiling at him. He cheers seeing his best pal, knowing a trip is on the horizon with his "Disney Aunt Jana." Once we align our work and preschool schedules, I can buy his ticket with the gift card. Sometimes, there is a bit extra on the card, which means more popcorn and Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bars! Bonus gifts!
Carmen, I hope you have the happiest of holidays! If we can help you with any other questions, you have a friend in
planDisney.
Thinking of the Happiest Things!
