Bright Suns, Clare! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney. You’re such an amazing sibling to plan this far in advance to ensure your brothers have the most magical trip possible. As a big Star Wars fan myself, visiting
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is an out-of-this-world experience!
U.K. guests are invited to book
Enchanting Extras, like building a lightsaber at
Savi’s Workshop, by calling the
Recreation phone number or using the chat feature in the
My Disney Experience app (In the app, select the ☰ symbol in the bottom right corner and scroll down to Chat With Us under Help & Feedback).
Guests can
start booking reservations 60 days in advance, or if you’re a
Disney Resort hotel guest you can book 60 days before your check-in date for your entire length of stay (up to 10 days). Be sure to make your reservation as soon as your booking window opens because Savi’s Workshop time slots can disappear faster than lightspeed!
At Savi’s Workshop, each builder can bring one guest so if you have reservations for both brothers, you and another family member can join them for what’s sure to be a core memory! At least one person in each party needs to be 14 years of age or older.
While you’re on Batuu, keep an eye out for PhotoPass photographers so your brothers can get lots of pictures (or holoscans as they call them on this planet) to remember their visit. The
Star Wars Photo Opportunities page lists some of the galactic shots they can get. If possible, I’d recommend returning in the evening because the glowing lightsabers look extra cool in the dark!
As you plan for your family’s trip, you might also find the
Accessibility at Walt Disney World Resort page helpful. It includes a
section dedicated to services for neurodivergent guests.
Your vacation might feel like it’s far, far away, but you’ll be hanging out with Stormtroopers, drinking
blue milk, and piloting the
Millennium Falcon before you know it!
And if you have any more questions before your journey to Batuu, we’d love to have you back at planDisney. May the Force be with you!
