Hi Alexandra,
Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with a question about your fast approaching trip to
Disneyland Resort, I’m always happy to help a fellow Canadian.
It’s always important to hydrate, especially when walking all day at the theme parks, I’m glad you’re thinking ahead and planning which reusable water bottle to bring. Guests can bring their own water bottle to the park, and good news - metal is fine! Any water bottles are accepted as long as they are not made of glass. I brought a metal water bottle with me to Disneyland Resort last summer and it was fantastic having cold water on hand.
When it comes time to refill your water bottle, you’ll be happy to know that there are
water bottle filling stations located throughout both theme parks. To find the one closest to you, open the
Disneyland Mobile app and use the search tool at the bottom of the screen (the magnifying glass). Type “Bottle-filling stations” and all of the stations at both parks will pop up on the map. You can click on each location for a more specific description of where to find it. In a pinch, you can also stop by a Quick Service dining location for a cup of cold water.
Here’s a smart tip for Canadian travellers - Disney Gift Cards can help you stretch your vacation budget! I like to pick up Canadian Disney Gift Cards at major grocery stores or pharmacies before heading to Disneyland or Walt Disney World. When you use Canadian Disney Gift Cards in the U.S., the funds are automatically converted to U.S. dollars at the previous day’s exchange rate, and you skip the foreign transaction fees that usually come with credit card purchases. They’re perfect for paying for meals, souvenirs, and other vacation extras!
I hope this information is helpful for your trip, Alexandra. Have a wonderful time at the Happiest Place on Earth! If you have any other questions,
please don't hesitate to reach out. I'm happy to assist!
Enjoy making magical memories,
Candace
