Hiya Lindsey,
Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney with your question! As an
annual passholder, I never head to the parks without bringing a bag or small backpack. It is honestly the easiest way to carry all of my park day essentials like water bottles, snacks for my girls, sunscreen, portable chargers, trading pins, and of course a small poncho, because you never know when Tia Pepa’s mood is going to affect the weather.
So, Lindsey, let’s jump right into your question. According to the
Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules, bags larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high (61 cm x 38 cm x 46 cm) are not permitted inside the parks. I definitely recommend measuring your bag before your trip, but as long as it falls within those dimensions, you should be all set for your magical day.
Just keep in mind that all bags are subject to security screening before entering the parks. Also, dry ice is not permitted inside the theme parks, so that is something to plan around if you are packing snacks or drinks.
Since we are heading into Florida’s warm and rainy season, I also highly recommend packing a refillable water bottle and a lightweight poncho. Staying hydrated is so important during those long park days, especially while racing from attraction to attraction. The good news is that refillable water bottle stations can be found throughout the parks, and you can easily locate them right in your
My Disney Experience app.
Lindsey, I hope this answers your question. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to stop by and visit us again.
See you real soon,
Christina
