Hey, Jen, and welcome to planDisney!

There's nothing more exciting than the moment you decide to book a visit to Walt Disney World. It's always such a thrill to take those first steps into the magic! Now, if you're a Type A super-planner like me, you might thrive on researching your options, plotting the details, and making it all official. But if all those choices overwhelm you, you're certainly far from alone. Luckily, my planDisney pals and I are always on hand to help you make the most of the magic. You'll be making your grand entrance in The Most Magical Place on Earth in just a few short weeks - so let's wave our magic wands and get your plans in order!

Jen, it sounds like you're planning to book a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, and I am SO happy to hear it! There are tons of benefits to staying on-site at a Disney resort, including Early Theme Park Entry and complimentary theme park transportation. And based on your intended arrival date, you'll also be eligible for the 2026 water park benefit, which gives resort guests free water park admission on check-in day!

Since you want to purchase a resort stay and theme park admission, a Disney World vacation package is probably your best bet. This also allows you to add a Disney Dining plan to your package, if you're so inclined. To get started, click here to begin exploring your resort options. Plug in your dates and the makeup of your travel party to start pricing out the possibilities. Be aware that Disney resorts fall into three tiers: value, moderate, and deluxe. Each comes with its own amenities and price point (and you can filter your search to what works best for you!).

Once you click on a resort, choose a room type and navigate through the booking process to select the number of park tickets, admission type, and other package details. These choices can affect your pricing in either direction, so play around with your options to find a price that works for you.

As Walt Disney himself once said, "The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing." So I hope you jump into the magic with both feet, Jen! If you have any other planning questions, you know where to find me right here at planDisney!

    See ya real soon,

    Allison
