Can you bring food from outside the park?

    Hi, there!

Welcome to planDisney, Ashley. We're delighted to see you! It looks like you're traveling to the Walt Disney World Resort TODAY! That's super exciting.

You ask an excellent question about bringing food into the theme parks. I'm pleased to tell you that you are most welcome to take food and non-alcoholic beverages into the theme parks with you. Isn't that great? As a mom of three, I always pack snacks and drinks for my family's pixie-dusted adventures in the theme parks. The last thing I need is a "hangry" kiddo on my hands! I usually pack things like Goldfish crackers, granola bars, fresh fruit, juice pouches, and bottled water. It's important to note that loose ice is not permitted in the theme parks, so if you're packing your food and drinks into a cooler, use reusable ice packs or put loose ice in a resealable bag to keep your items nice and cold.

Be sure to have the My Disney Experience mobile app downloaded for your visit. It's magic at your fingertips! You can use the app to view current wait times for attractions, place Mobile Food and Beverage Orders, preview Disney PhotoPass photos, and more!

I hope this was helpful, Ashley. I'm wishing you a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
