Bright Suns, Riley, and welcome back to planDisney. I’m excited that you’ll be dodging Stormtroopers and drinking
blue milk in just a few days!
For a long time, Mando and Grogu were hard to track down since they were always speeding off on their latest missions. But now you can find a schedule of their appearances in the
My Disney Experience app. Go to the location icon at the bottom of the home screen (looks like an upside-down teardrop) and select
Hollywood Studios in the Locations drop-down menu above the map. Then, scroll through the icons at the top and select Characters. I like to press Show List at the bottom right to easily scroll through everyone meeting. Here you can see The Mandalorian's appearance schedule and where to find him, which is usually around Black Spire Market. In my experience, he usually enters and exits near the entrance to the market closest to the bathrooms. So that’s a good spot to hang out when he’s scheduled to make an appearance.
Typically, the character schedules only come up in the app during regular park hours. While the times can change, you can take a look at today’s schedule to get an idea of how frequently Mando is wandering about Batuu.
Another place where you might be able to spot Mando and Grogu is on
Star Tours. Last year,
new sequences were added, including some from The Mandalorian. Star Tours is one of my favorite attractions since every ride can be completely different (there are more than 250 storyline variations!). So there's also a chance you’ll see your favorite galactic duo here!
And that’s not the only exciting Mando-related update coming to
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Starting next May,
you’ll be able to team up with Mando and Grogu on an all-new storyline aboard
Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. And the riders in the Engineer role will even get to communicate with Grogu throughout the mission!
One last thing I wanted to mention before I go.
Oga’s Cantina has a
limited-time drink for May the 4th called The Mythosaur. This drink is available through May 31st (or while supplies last) in a mug that celebrates the legendary creature from Mandalorian folklore.
I'm wishing you a safe journey to Batuu! And if you have any other questions, don't hesitate to visit us again at planDisney.
