Why hello there Margaret and welcome back to planDisney!
I hope you're looking forward to your trip in a few months, and it looks like you've come to our team in the past in search of advice about a
Disney Vacation Club stay! Now while I'm always happy to discuss the merits of being a member, I must admit I was thrilled to see your question include references to Star Wars and Marvel experiences coming together. While many fans would likely be intrigued by these two universes colliding in some way that guests can experience, there is unfortunately currently nothing of the sort that you describe available here at Walt Disney World Resort.
In fact, many of the Avengers and Marvel Super Heroes like Thor do not appear at any of the theme parks or attractions therein for a variety of reasons and instead can be found at
Avengers Campus located at Disney California Adventure Park where you'll find a whole plethora of experiences available to guests making the trek out west. The other theme parks around the world where you'll also find them include
Marvel Avengers Campus at Walt Disney Studios Park in France as well as in
Tomorrowland in Hong Kong Disneyland and
Marvel Universe in Shanghai Disney Resort.
As far a lightsabers, there is a
bookable experience found at Savi's Workshop located within
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge where guests can assemble their own - though any actual fighting with these is certainly not something that is encouraged. (In the past, you might have been familiar with
a Jedi Training offering that has since been retired and is currently not available.)
Though interacting with superheroes with lightsabers isn't something that is currently possible at Walt Disney World Resort, I am curious to know where you've found that! If you or your loved ones are in search of a vacation to a Disney Destination where both Star Wars and Marvel experiences can take place quite close to each other I highly recommend checking out the
character offerings on board Disney Cruise Line; on the Disney Wish recently we were able to hug Chewbacca and meet Spiderman within adjacent rooms of
Disney's Oceaneer Club, and this just might be the closest you can get to being able to do so from here in Florida!
I highly encourage you to keep an close eye on the
Disney Parks Blog where we provide our tips and content, and don't hesitate to come back once again for any other tips and advice from our team. Who knows what new heroic experiences may be on the horizon?
Wishing you all the best on your future Disney adventures!
