Sydney from TN Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

My boyfriend and I are attempting to purchase tickets for our visit to The Walt Disney World, as we are part-time residents of Florida. We do not have Florida drivers licenses, and I wanted to know if a lease agreement with both of our names on it would ok

    Hi Sydney!

Welcome to planDisney! Moving to another state is a lot of work, but if you’re relocating to Florida, the Walt Disney World offers for Florida Residents are a pretty nice bonus!

You must provide proof of Florida residency to purchase Florida resident tickets. Unfortunately, lease agreements are not part of the accepted list of documents. You already mentioned not having a Florida driver’s license, but there are a few other options that you may have as a new Florida resident.

    • Current automobile registration, insurance policy, or bill
    • Current utility bill (power/phone/cable/water)
    • Mail from financial institutions, including checking, savings, or investment account statements
    • Mail from federal, state, county, or city government agencies
Bills and mail must be no more than 2 months old. If you do not receive paper versions of these statements or bills, you can provide current statements and bills printed from electronic versions or electronic bills shown on a smartphone or tablet.

I hope this was helpful, Sydney. Congratulations on becoming a new resident of the Sunshine State! I hope there are many magical visits to Walt Disney World in the future! Please come back to planDisney if you have any more questions!
