Hey Ted, welcome to planDisney!
As I’m writing this answer, I’m looking through my window at a snow-covered yard and dreaming of the day I can be a snowbird myself! I hope you’re enjoying your time in your winter home!
To purchase Florida Resident theme park tickets, you’ll need to provide
proof of your Florida address, such as a valid Florida driver’s license, Florida state-issued ID card, or Florida-based military ID. If you don’t have one of these, you can provide proof of a current mortgage, a homeowner’s insurance policy or bill, automobile registration, insurance policy, or utility bill. If you have mail from a financial institution or federal, state, county, or city government agency, these may also serve as proof of residency. Any statements, bills, or mail provided must be no more than two (2) months old, and you will also need to show a corresponding picture ID.
Disney World offers specially priced
Military Salute Ticket which can be purchased by Eligible Service Members and valid military identification must be presented to purchase and use the tickets. Eligible Service Members are defined as active or retired members of the US Military. These tickets can be purchased at participating U.S. military bases or at
Shades of Green Resort. If you purchase these soon, you can purchase the 2025 Disney Military Salute Tickets at 2024 prices available through February 1, 2025!
Check out the
Special Offers page on the Walt Disney World website to find which applicable offers are best for you. There are often resort reservation and ticket
offers available for Florida Residents and
military service members.
I hope this helped, Ted! A “staycation” at Walt Disney World Resort would be a nice farewell to Florida before you head back to wherever you call home for the remainder of the year. Please
come back to planDisney if you have any further questions!
