I bought tickets thru AAA for 4/23 and it said it was available for Disneyland. When I go online to make reservations it says only California Adventure is available. How can I get into Disneyland 4/23?

Greetings and welcome to planDisney, Kim. Your visit to the Disneyland Resort is just around the corner, so let's make sure you're all set with your theme park reservations.

I just checked the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar and also noticed that Disney California Adventure Park is the only park available for reservations for a 1 Park Per Day Ticket, which I assume is the type of ticket that you have. Oh bother, I'm so sorry. While there may have been availability at the time that you purchased your ticket, it can change fairly quickly. This is true especially during this busy time of year with various spring vacations and so many wonderful things happening at the resort.

I have some suggestions that you might consider for your visit, Kim. First, if you have some flexibility for your visit, you can always schedule for a different day. Keep in mind that if you have a 1-Day theme park ticket, you'll need to reschedule for a day within the same designated tier (or lower), or you'll need to upgrade your ticket. If that doesn't work, you could consider upgrading your theme park ticket to a Park Hopper ticket, which, at the time of this writing, still has availability to reserve Disneyland as your starting park (subject to change) and you'll be able to hop between both parks throughout the day. For both of these options, you can call a friendly Cast Member at the phone line for Tickets for assistance.

Finally, you can always make a theme park reservation for Disney California Adventure Park and frequently check back for availability to open for Disneyland. Guests' plans can often change and while it's never guaranteed, it could be possible that reservations for Disneyland become available before your visit. If this happens, you can easily modify your theme park reservation. It's always good to have a confirmed reservation (even if it's for a different park than you originally hoped for) as a backup plan.

Kim, I'm sorry to share this not-so-magical news with you. I hope that I was able to provide you with some options for you to still have a magical visit. Let us know if we can help with any other questions before your visit. I'll be sending all the pixie dust your way and wishing on a star that things work out for you!
