Yes, you should be able to upgrade your
1-Day 1 Park Per Day Ticket before or during your visit. I visited with my son earlier this year, and though we planned to just stick to EPCOT for the day, we toyed with the idea of hopping over to Magic Kingdom Park for a bit. As an Annual Passholder, I have park hopping ability all the time (subject to capacity), but I wasn't sure if we would be able to make changes to his standard theme park ticket after he had already scanned in. Though we ultimately decided to stay at EPCOT, I did have the option to upgrade his ticket that same day using the
My Disney Experience app. Let's talk through the process.
Locate your linked admission in the app by clicking the feature menu (☰), then select the tile for "My Tickets & Passes" at the top of the screen. You should see an option to reassign or upgrade your ticket if eligible. Follow the prompts to add additional days of admission or upgrade to the
Park Hopper Option. The upgrade amount will be displayed before you complete the purchase, so you can decide if the price fits your budget before finalizing the transaction. I recommend looking into this ahead of your visit
online or via the app so you're prepared to make the most of your day. You can also stop by the ticket window at the park entrance or any
Guest Relations location to upgrade in person with a Cast Member, if you prefer.
