Sunset at Disney's Animal Kingdom

Shi from England Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I bought a UK Disney package with 7 nights at a resort hotel and a 14-day Magic Ticket, both starting on the same date. Can I still use my Magic Ticket to enter theme parks and water parks after checking out and moving to an off-site hotel?

Welcome to planDisney, Shi! I'm always happy to answer questions from Guests who have just found our friendly corner of the internet. We love helping everyone plan their magical vacations.

As long as you use your theme park ticket during its usage window, you can continue enjoying admission to the theme parks and water parks included with your ticket, even if that's after you have checked out of your Disney Resorts Collection Hotel. Just note that you will no longer have access to resort hotel benefits like Early Theme Park Entry or Extended Evening Theme Park Hours (if applicable) after your checkout date.

Now, we will likely be learning a lot more pretty soon during the D23 Ultimate Fan Event about the new offerings coming to the Walt Disney World Resort and other destinations. But we learned at the 2024 event that the Tropical Americas land coming to Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park is projected to open at some point in 2027. So my fingers are crossed that this Encanto- and Indiana Jones-inspired land will be open when you are at the resort. But even if it's not ready by then, there are so many experiences that have recently opened at the resort that will still be all shiny and new when you visit! Be sure to follow the Disney Parks Blog leading up to your trip.

Shi, your two weeks in the magic are bound to be amazing. If you have any other questions, I've got your answers!

    Fortune and glory,
    Matt
