Hello, Alexandra. Welcome to
planDisney, where we’re here to help with planning your next trip to the
Disneyland Resort! I’m happy to clarify the specifics to prove your residency. The
3-day Park Hopper is such a great deal, and so many people are feeling the magic because of it!
I’m sorry to say, a lease is not considered an acceptable proof of residency. The
terms and conditions state that you must provide a government-issued photo ID that indicates your address. Even a passport doesn’t actually work, since they usually do not include your address. I see that your intended arrival date is just next week. I’d recommend that you push that reservation to sometime in early May and apply for a state ID right away. If you move quickly, the ID may be delivered in time for you to use all three days of your ticket before the expiration date, which is May 21st.
Everyone in your party must also be able to produce proof of residency at the gate on the first day you use the ticket. If they cannot show proof, they will not be allowed to scan in, and there are no refunds for these tickets. And don’t forget to make
park reservations for each day you intend to use the tickets. I expect many 3-day Park Hopper guests will be trying to get their last day in close to the 21st, and reservations are subject to availability.
Alexandra, I know this may not have been the answer you were hoping for, but there still might be time! I hope it all works out for you and you make so many magical memories across the three days of your pass. Don’t hesitate to come right back to us at
planDisney if you have any other questions. I hope you have a magical day!
