Hi Michele,
Welcome to planDisney! I'm sorry to hear that the weather made your plans all Tangled, but I guess that just means you'll get to dream your Disney dreams a little bit longer before they come true, right?
You'll be happy to hear that you
never lose the value of your tickets as long as they're unused. If, for example, you had multi-day tickets and used four out of five days of your theme park tickets before the tickets expired, that last day is now gone. It sounds to me like you only purchased 1-day tickets, though, and then didn't use them. If that's the case, you'll be able to apply the value of the tickets towards new ones on the date of your choosing. I'd encourage you to check the Disney Park Pass reservation
availability calendar first, then when you find an available date that you'd like to visit, you may modify your theme park tickets for the new date. My dear friend and fellow planDisney panelist Tabitha shares exactly how to do that in this
helpful answer. As she shares, it's important to note that if there's a price difference between your current tickets and the new ones you're wanting to acquire, you will need to pay the difference between the two.
As soon as your tickets are all squared away, please don't forget to make your
Disney Park Pass reservations! Under the phased reopening, it's not enough to have valid tickets for entrance into the theme parks; those reservations are also required. I'm sending pixie dust that the new day you choose will be bright and beautiful!
Thanks so much for visiting us at planDisney, Michele, and please don't hesitate to come back and see us again if we can help with anything else. I hope you and your Mouseketeers have a truly magical day stepping into some of the most iconic Disney stories at
Disney's Hollywood Studios!
Missy
