Boo to you, Richie! Welcome, foolish mortal. I'm grim-grinning ear to ear that you've stopped by with such a ghoulishly great planning question.
I can't imagine a better way to celebrate your son's birthday than a magical adventure at The Most Magical Place on Earth. And with a visit to the frightfully fun
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party?! How exciting! Costumes, treats (no tricks), shows, parades, fireworks, and so much more ... That sounds like the BEST. DAY. EVER! Now, let's get this planning party started!
If you purchase tickets to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, no Theme Park Tickets or Theme Park Reservations are required. In fact, even though the Party does not begin until 7:00 p.m., you can enter Magic Kingdom Park as early as 4:00 p.m. with
just your event ticket.
If you would like to enter Magic Kingdom before 4:00 p.m. on your Halloween Party day, you can absolutely make a
Theme Park Reservation for Magic Kingdom with your theme park ticket on that day and either cancel it or modify it to another available theme park down the road, if you wish. But since the grim-grinning ghosts come out to socialize until midnight at Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, my family and I love sleeping in that day, having a late breakfast, and swimming and resting at our Disney Resort hotel before the Party. That way, we are ready to party with the other 999 Happy Haunts all night,
and we save a theme park ticket.
I hope this helps, Richie, and I wish your son a very happy and not-so-scary birthday celebration! Please feel free to stop by any time with any questions you may have.
Hurry baaaaaack,
Mandy
