When booking dining for our trip, do we need to include the child under 3 years of age in the head count?

    Hi Aleah!

As my pal Lumiere once said, "It is with deepest pride and greatest pleasure" that we welcome you to planDisney! Your dining window opens in just a few days, and as a mom of a Mouseketeer under three myself, you've come to the right place with your question! You do need to include your child, who is a Guest of Mickey, in your head count for dining reservations. This is to ensure the restaurant has enough seating for your entire family. I recently made dining reservations for an upcoming visit and included my two-year-old whenever I booked dining.

With little ones, I suggest looking at restaurants that serve buffets or family-style options. These restaurants not only have menu items for all the foodies in your family, but a lot of them also are character meals too! This is my favorite way to say hi to characters, and it's all from the comfort of your table. Some dining options I recommend you look into include:

You can begin reserving dining (and any other Enchanting Extras you are interested in) at 6 AM the day your booking window opens. I suggest having your app and computer open at the same time to ensure the highest probability of booking the restaurants and times you are interested in. Aleah, I hope all of this information was helpful, and thank you again for visiting planDisney!
