Jambo, Amy! Thanks for coming to planDisney with your vacation planning question! It sounds like you'll be taking a walk on the wild side at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge for your next visit! My family has also chosen this Disney Deluxe Resort for our next stay; we are excited to be surrounded by the savanna and have access to some of the unique dining experiences at the resort!
As you mentioned, this resort has two distinct areas for guest rooms - Jambo House and Kidani Village. I checked my own upcoming reservation and had the same details listed that you mentioned, so I reached out to a Cast Member for clarification. The Cast Member suggested that if it does not specify, the reservation is most likely in the main building, Jambo House, as Kidani Village is generally for Disney Vacation Club bookings, including deluxe studios and 1, 2, and 3-bedroom Villas. If you'd like more concrete information about your specific reservation, you can also reach out to the
Disney Resort Hotel Reservations Team for personal assistance with your booking number.
Amy, no matter which area of the resort you will be staying in, there is an internal shuttle for guests who wish to explore both areas during their stay. I know we will be making an Advance Dining Reservation to try out
Sanaa - I hear the Indian Style Bread Service is not to be missed! I'm also looking forward to trying out the Zebra Domes desserts available at quick service locations throughout the resort! My panelist pal
Amy says they're in the refrigerated area, but they won't have any time to melt before you eat them up!
I hope this helps and that you have a wonderful visit and enjoy your savanna views while staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge! If you're looking for some nighttime adventure, check out the
Starlight Safari at the resort! This Enchanting Extra is available to guests 8 years of age and older and it looks like a unique way to use night vision to see the animals after dark! Please come back to see us again if you have any more questions as you count down the days to your next adventure!
See you real soon,
Alison
