Visiting in September was just wondering if they offer the after hour events in September as we are trying to plan

Hi there, Colleen! Welcome back to planDisney! It's exciting to see you planning another visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth; thanks for coming back to us with your question! Disney After Hours events are a great opportunity to take advantage of lower crowds, complimentary snacks, and late-night fun at the theme parks!

Unfortunately, Colleen, at this time, there are no scheduled After Hours events at any of the theme parks for September. The current schedule runs through June at Magic Kingdom Park, July at EPCOT, and August at Disney's Hollywood Studios. While event offerings are always subject to change, this schedule seems to follow the pattern for previous years. I'd recommend keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog in case there are any additional dates added for the 2024 events!

While this might not be the answer you were hoping for, as someone who loves the ambiance and excitement of late nights at the theme parks, I'd love to share some alternatives with you that might help you access that after-hours magic in different ways!

One thing to consider is that Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party historically kicks off in August, so while this is not the traditional After Hours event you asked about, it is an opportunity to spend time after hours in Magic Kingdom celebrating the spooky season! This is such a fun event that includes a special holiday parade and fireworks show, trick-or-treating throughout the entire park, and stage shows and ride overlays that will set the mood for festive fall fun! You're also sure to see many of your favorite characters in costume for Halloween - this is one of my favorite parts of this special event! Because it is a separately ticketed event, there are lighter crowds and lower wait times for the attractions as well!

Another tip I'll share with you is that Guests staying at a Disney Deluxe Resort, Disney Deluxe Villa Resort, or other select hotels have access to the benefit of Extended Evening Theme Park Hours at certain parks on select nights. This includes an extra two hours of in-park fun after the park has closed for the day, exclusive to these resort guests! One of my favorite perks of this is also the additional opportunity to join a third Virtual Queue at 6 PM for TRON Lightcycle/Run at Magic Kingdom Park or Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT!

Colleen, I hope this helps you to find some ways to explore magic after hours on your upcoming visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! Please come back to planDisney anytime if we can help again!

    See you real soon,
    Alison
