Hi Tania,
Welcome back to planDisney and thank you so much for asking us another great question!
One of the most memorable
Sports and Recreation activities that I’ve done during my visits to Walt Disney World Resort last year was absolutely
Horseback Riding at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. It had been several decades since I had touched a horse, let alone ridden one, but it truly was a wonderful experience.
It’s true that, for your safety, the Cast Members who will be leading your group through the trails around
The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort will ask you to put away your cell phones and cameras for the entire ride. That said, they were absolutely willing to take pictures of us before we set off on our adventure, and I was also able to snap some pictures while were waiting to start our ride and other Guests were getting saddled up! After all, who doesn’t want pictures while sporting an oh-so-flattering riding helmet?!
Once you’re done with your ride, don’t forget that you can mosey on over to
Trail’s End Restaurant for some grub. It’s just a short bus ride away from the Tri-Circle D Ranch where your ride will start and finish. Plus, you can even take Disney Water Transportation over to Magic Kingdom Park just a few steps away from the restaurant!
As always, please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions. We’re always happy to help!
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
