Howdy, Linda, and welcome to planDisney, where we like our s'mores with extra marshmallows! I hope you have your saddle bags packed because your
Walt Disney World Resort visit is coming up around the bend. You have some exciting adventures planned, so let's circle the wagons and talk about transportation.
Although Woody can depend on his trusty steed, Bullseye, guests of Disney Resort Hotels have other options. On the night you're attending
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, complimentary transportation will run up to one hour after
Magic Kingdom Park closes. Since most parties end at midnight, the
water taxis and Disney buses will run until around 1:00 a.m. Those boats might not always run due to weather, so the buses are a good plan B.
I moseyed up to the campfire and spoke to a ten-gallon Cast Member who said the internal shuttles will also be running throughout
The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort for an hour after Magic Kingdom closes, so they'll be operating until about 1:00 a.m., as well.
My best tip is to have a laid-back day leading up to the Halloween party, Linda. Sleep in, rustle up some grub for lunch, and lounge by the
Meadow Swimmin' Pool. Starting at 4:00, you can scan in at Magic Kingdom Park to get in some activities before the party officially kicks off at 7:00. With a slower start to your day, I bet you'll be yee-hawing until midnight easily!
I'm attending the party in a few weeks and can't wait to see the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular. This stage show features everyone's favorite witches, the Sanderson Sisters, and takes place on the stage in front of Cinderella Castle.
Linda, I'm whirling up some pixie dust with my lasso, so you'll have the best time in tarnation on your upcoming visit. Please ride by
planDisney anytime!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
