Bonjour Katherine, and welcome back to planDisney! It’s such an exciting time to visit Disneyland Paris with the recent reimagining of
Disney Adventure World and the opening of
World of Frozen! So I’d be happy to chat about modifying your reservation.
It sounds like you may have booked your stay through the UK-based Walt Disney Travel Company website. If that’s the case, third-party reservations typically need to be modified or cancelled through the company you booked with. You should be able to do that by visiting their Help section and going to Modify My Booking or contacting them through the phone number or email provided.
Since your visit isn’t until next year, you may be able to cancel your current reservation (be sure to double-check the cancellation policy!) and book a
Hotel + Disney Park Tickets package directly through the Disneyland Paris website. This has a lot of benefits, including modifying or canceling your reservation up to seven days in advance without penalty, paying for your vacation in installments, and booking dining reservations and
Magical Extras before other guests. Some popular experiences, like character meals and
reserved viewing areas for nighttime spectaculars, can be fully booked closer to your trip, so this is a great perk! Watching
Disney Tales of Magic from the reserved area is always a must-do for my family. You get such a great view of the projections and water features!
Booking this way also means you can modify your package on the Disneyland Paris website or by talking to a Cast Member. If you call the
Client Relation Center, confirm the operating hours online. Usually, you need to call in the morning if you’re in the U.S. because of the time difference.
Before your vacation, don’t forget to download the
Disneyland Paris mobile app, which is an invaluable tool when you’re in the parks. You can use it to check theme park maps, join
virtual queues to meet characters, purchase
Disney Premier Access to skip the standby lines for select rides, pre-order food with
Click & Collect (similar to mobile ordering in the U.S. parks), and
check into your hotel stay.
I’m wishing you a magical visit to Disneyland Paris next year! And if you have any other questions, you’re always welcome at planDisney.
