Hi! We have booked dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table June 4th to celebrate Haven's first Disney stay. Jeff's first time back in twenty plus years. And Robin's 65th birthday the 4th. What can we do to make this day special for all?

Hey there Robin! Welcome to planDisney. It sounds like you have quite the celebration planned for your travel party on this upcoming vacation. Sharing a meal at one of Walt Disney World's most iconic restaurants is the perfect way to commemorate a first visit, a triumphant return, and a milestone birthday. I have some tips and suggestions that will help make this a memorable trip for you all.

My first piece of advice is to pick up celebration buttons from the front desk of your resort hotel or at Guest Relations inside the theme parks. There are different buttons for first visits, birthdays, and custom celebrations! My son proudly wore his first visit button back in 2024, and a Cast Member made a customized "I'm Celebrating" button for me when I earned my Master's degree back in 2019. This complimentary piece of flair lets everyone around you know that you're celebrating something special, and I love getting shout-outs from Cast Members and my fellow guests when they see me wearing my button.

You can also order a Mickey Mouse Celebration Cake to be delivered to your table at the end of your meal at Cinderella's Royal Table. You can request this as part of your dining reservation in the My Disney Experience app.

Plus up your day by getting some photos taken to commemorate this special visit. You can ask the Disney PhotoPass photographers that are stationed around the park to take your picture, and I recommend that you strike a pose for one in front of Cinderella Castle. I can see it now: a snapshot of you all smiling from ear to ear while pointing to your celebration buttons! Now that's a picture destined for the family photo album. You might even consider booking a Capture Your Moment experience at Magic Kingdom for a personalized 20 minute photo shoot.

Finally, no special day at Magic Kingdom is complete without a little pixie dust, and you can receive a complimentary sprinkle of glitter at Sir Mickey's. Just look for a Cast Member equipped with a fairy wand and tell them you'd like to make a wish for your heart's desire. They'll happily shake some glitter over your head while you do your wishing.

You are going to have such a fantastic time on your trip, Robin! I hope you find these suggestions helpful, and it is my sincere wish that each member of your travel party feels like royalty throughout your visit. Please meet me back here at planDisney if there are additional questions I can assist you with.

    Stay magical,
    Scott
