I want to book a 2027 trip to disney world in october but I am waiting to see if they offer the free dinning plan like this year. Can you help. I want to book but i do not want to miss out on this becuase it would help me decide if we can come or not

Howdy, James, and thank you for stopping by planDisney with this delectable question! You must know I love the food at Walt Disney World Resort; my husband says I plan my whole day around eating. And he's not wrong! Let's look at your options for securing a vacation while leaving room for modifications.

Since all dining plans must be part of a Vacation Package, my suggestion is to book your package at any time. You'll bundle your Disney Resort Hotel stay with theme park tickets, and you'll pay a deposit to secure the package. If a special offer for free or discounted dining drops, probably next spring, you can add it to your package

I suggest calling the Tickets and Hotel Reservations line to help with the initial booking process. They'll also have the latest special offers, and they're like Sorcerer Mickey when it comes to making suggestions.

Be sure to ask about cancellation policies and modification dates in case a dining deal doesn't come through for you. This is also who you'll call as soon as a deal drops; they can determine whether your dates and resort meet the requirements and add a dining plan for you.

Glancing online, I see a current promotion for 20% off dining plans for kids in 2027. This deal comes with vacation packages that include adult dining plans. Every little bit helps, as my mom used to say!

You can keep an eye on the official Disney Parks Instagram page or the Disney Parks Blog for announcements about 2027 offers. In years past, dining offers have usually dropped in the spring, but it's kind of like pixie dust; you never know when it will come sprinkling down!

My family has never used Disney dining plans. We typically eat a light breakfast in our room and even bring a cooler backpack filled with snacks and lunches to the parks. That's a great way to save some money, too!

James, I wish I had more concrete news to help you plan your 2027 trip. Disney dining plans will transition to a new model in 2027, so I think that could delay information on special offers. But I truly want your family to enjoy the Most Magical Place on Earth, so feel free to ask additional questions about money-saving tips; planDisney would love to help!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
